description

This is a fine second flush Darjeeling tea from one of Darjeeling’s well-known tea estates. It has the characteristic briskness and pleasant vegetal flavours that are attributes of the chinary tea here. At this price, it's also good value for money.

aroma:
Sweet vegetal, woody, caramelised
appearance:
Light amber
taste:
Liquor is medium-bodied, brisk and slightly astringent at the end. Mellow notes resembling sweet vegetables (green beans) immediately hit the palate and dominate throughout the length of the cup. One gets sweet notes of wood in the middle which however is short lived. The cup ends on a dry finish with a caramalised aftertaste.
